Armando Jenkins-Vazquez is a photographer and filmmaker based in the Midwest, working across cities, small towns, and the spaces in between. His practice is driven by a desire to build something over time. Following ideas and places long enough for them to take shape as cohesive bodies of work.

Alongside his photographic work, he creates documentary films that extend this approach through motion and sound—focusing on atmosphere, pacing, and lived experience rather than spectacle.

He is currently developing long-term projects rooted in the Midwest and Great Lakes region, with the goal of shaping them into photobooks and films for his youtube channel.

Armando is also available for select commissions in photography and documentary filmmaking, collaborating with institutions, brands, and individuals to create thoughtful, story-driven work.

Recent collaborations include Luther College.
