Chambers of Reflection is a long-term study of the Great Lakes region, made on repeated trips and living out of my van.

I see the lakes as chambers: spaces people live beside, that give life to everything around them, and that invite reflection. Across the photographs, empty water acts as a mirror, chairs sit waiting, and people and animals go about their lives along the shore, with the beauty and the ugliness of everyday reality side by side.

The plan is to keep returning, to see how the place changes and how I change with it.

These images are from the first trip, in November 2025.
